Greetings to all! As we are well aware, September 5th is a day dedicated to celebrating our teachers. This special occasion allows us to express our gratitude for their invaluable contributions in various fields. We commemorate this day in honor of the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan, a distinguished scholar, philosopher, Bharat Ratna awardee, and a highly esteemed educator.
Teachers commit their lives to molding the future of their students and hold a pivotal role in each student's journey. This year, we are embracing a virtual celebration at the Department of English, Maharaj Krishnakumarsinhji Bhavnagar University. In our English Department, we've devised a unique and innovative approach to Teacher's Day celebrations, guided by the esteemed Dr. Dilip Barad.
For this year's Teacher's Day celebration, we have organized a virtual quiz centered around our subject matter, utilizing a Google Quiz format. Participants who respond to the quiz will receive an automatically generated certificate. Furthermore, we are sharing our video on the Ed.TED platform. To provide a sneak peek, we are also crafting a brief preview video.
I have actively participated in this celebration and have prepared a concise video lecture on the short story "The Monkey's Paw" written by W.W. Jacob.
